The Blue Dress
The Blue Dress, first published in 1991, is a collection of short stories by Aussie authors with a slight twist - each writer was asked to look at the painting, The Blue Dress, and write a short story about it.
Libby Hathorn, who's daughter is the subject in the painting, selected the 16 very different stories for this collection.
16 of Australia's finest authors have given us 16 different tales to ponder, showing how one painting can be viewed and considered in many varied fashions.
There are narrations of the past, mystery, the future, death, a fairytale, magic and more to captivate the reader with each turning of the page.
