Dodger

Libby Gleeson, a wonderful Aussie author, penned this in 1990.

Written off as a bludger by his teachers who have no faith in him whatsoever, Dodger takes the reader as an observer along for a ride in a boy's life as he finally comes to terms with his mother's death while finding his talent for acting in a school play.

Libby Gleeson has combined the narrative from both Dodger and his teacher, using letters from his teacher Penny to illustrate her view point of the events in each chapter.
